Leadership
Steve and Liz both met while working in London and have been married for 27 years. Through their marriage and journey together, they have experienced the amazing love and grace of God and are passionate that Church Crawley would be a place where this same love and grace would be experienced. In September 2017 they began with their three daughters Grace, Alice and Lily the new exciting adventure of leading Church at St John's, St Peter's and St Richard's.

Community Pastor
Jordan is our Community Pastor. He joined Church Crawley when he was ‘dragged’ along by a friend to Alpha where he encountered Jesus on the Holy Spirit Day. As a volunteer, he led a number of Alpha courses before leaving the world of pensions and joining the team here in September 2024! He has a heart for those who do not yet know Jesus and loves watching them journey into relationship with Him. He loves playing cards and is partial to an episode (or 8!) of Gavin and Stacey. Tidy.

Valentina Davis
Accounts Clerk
Valentina is helping with Finance. She has been in Crawley for a couple of decades and travelled to over a dozen countries. Valentina is married to Ken. They are passionate about the Word of God and sharing it in Crawley and beyond. She would adopt all homeless cats if she could.

Charlotte Dobson
Curate
Charlotte began working in church ministry in 2016, as part of a church plant in Portsmouth. She has a heart for people to find wholeness and healing in Jesus, and in 2022 moved to Crawley to begin her curacy at St John’s. Charlotte is married to Pete, and loves a puzzle.

Paul Fitzgerald
Creative Lead
Paul is our Creative Lead. He has previously worked as a Graphic Designer in both Cambridgeshire and London but has always wanted to work on projects that have a social or faith-based aspect to them. Away from work, he is a keen film enthusiast and loves all things football.

Reninca is married to Carwyn and has two children. She has previously worked as a special needs primary school teacher and worked for Hope Health Action as a missionary in Haiti and with refugees in Uganda.

Adele joined the Church family here in 2020. In 2023 she started working within our Operations team to help support the life of Church Crawley and loves to see how lives are changed by Jesus. Originally from Essex she came across to West Sussex over 20 years ago. Travelling is part of her DNA and will seek every opportunity to get on a plane somewhere and is a real foodie!

Phil is married to Heather and they have four grown up daughters and nine grandchildren. They became part of St Johns in 2017. Phil worked as a social worker, pastor and more recently a chaplain in a GP surgery. He loves serving on the Character Course and helping others grow as disciples of Jesus. If he gets the chance you'll find him sailing his dinghy or coastal and mountain walking

Joel is a curate at St John's. He grew up on the Isle of Wight and is married to Rachel (who grew up in Northern Ireland). He's passionate about seeing people step into the fullness of life that Jesus offers, as well as watching American Football and perfecting his home-brewing coffee set up.
